Happy Good Friday! It is Easter weekend and we are busy around here. My in-laws are coming in town tonight, we are attending an Easter Extravaganza on post tomorrow, and we are hosting an Easter Potluck and Egg hunt at our house on Sunday. Whew! Writing all that out just makes me tired.
So let’s get to it with this week’s link up, Easter Edition.

I made this adorable bunny for a playgroup we attended yesterday. Isn’t it the cutest?

I also made yummy egg shaped sugar cookies. I found a simple icing recipe that worked great. 1 Cup powdered sugar mixed with 4 heaping teaspoons of milk. That’s it. They were easy to ice and the icing dried within 15 minutes so that I could stack the cookies.

I got a chalkboard to use at the fiesta wedding shower I threw last week. I’ve been wanting a chalkboard for a while and finally gave in and bought a standard one. Here’s what it looks like for our Easter weekend.

Sadie participated in her first egg hunt yesterday. She was excited about it in the morning every time we talked about it, but after a couple hours of extra sugar and waiting for the eggs to be hidden, this girl was over it. She had more fun finding one egg at a time, opening it, and eating the candy in side. Because of this, we only got about 5 eggs, which is okay with me!

Your Easter egg sugar cookies are cute!! And that's the same strategy that I use for icing, too, though I sometimes add a dash of vanilla flavoring too because I like vanilla!
Thank you! It was actually pretty simple! Thanks for stopping by!
