It is February 1st and I am checking in with my New Years Resolutions! I figured this would be a good place to hold me accountable.
My New Years Resolutions are:
1. To get Sadie on a better schedule – I have defentily made wonderful progress on this! At 5 Months, she now has 4 bottles a day- at 7am, 11am, 3pm, and 7pm. She goes to bed after her 7pm bottle and wakes up around 7am. She is getting up twice a night to feed- around 1:30am and 5-6am. There has been one or two nights that she only got up once- so we are working toward that more! She takes 3-4 naps a day. If they are short naps, she usually takes 4 about 2 hours apart, but recently she has started to stretch her naps out longer and is only taking 3, which is helping with the night sleep as well! She is putting herself to sleep, which is wonderful! I put her in her sleep sack, give her a kiss, lay her in her crib with her taggie(a lovey), turn on the white noise, and she is usually out within 10-15 minutes. She has also started solids and gets a fruit in the morning for breakfast and a veggie for dinner. I am so proud of my little girl!
2. To make healthier choices- I am participating in the Weight Watchers program. Although I have lost all of my baby weight, I would love to get more fit. – I am still following weight watchers. I have currently lost 8 lbs in 4 weeks! I love that I can still splurge a little here or there with a glass of wine or desert and not feel bad about it. I won’t waste your time going into details, but I am loving the program! I made a deal with Steve that if I could get back down into a size 4(which I have been before) then I can go on a shopping spree!! Pinterest summer wardrobe, here I come!!
3. Run a 5K. I am currently participating in the Couch to 5K program. I started last year, but took a couple weeks off during the holidays, so I backtracked and started back up this Morning at the end of Week 3. – I am currently at the end of week 6 of the 5K program. Yesterday, I ran for 20 minutes straight, which is HUGE for me. It was about 2.5 miles if you include the 5 min warm up and cool down. I am not, nor have I ever been a runner. It feels good to accomplish this! I am planning on running a 5K at the beginning of March.
4. To bring my husband home! Okay, so I can’t really do this one, but I will be counting down the days until he is home! – so I haven’t figured out a way to accomplish this yet, but I still pray for it every night! However, January is over, which means 1 more month down!
